WELL BLOCK FOR MOLTEN METAL MOLDING

PURPOSE: A well block for of molten steel molding is provided to prevent a generation of a vortex phenomenon during the end stage of a casting process, and to reduce the blockage of a nozzle by an inclusion. CONSTITUTION: A well block for of molten steel molding comprises a lower well block(11), an upper well block(12), a purging blick(13) and an argon injection unit. The lower well block is fixed to the bottom surface of a foundry equipment where a ladle or a tundish nozzle is installed. The upper well block is fixed on top of the lower well block. The purging blick performs a purging function by partially being fixed to the outside of the upper well block. The argon injection unit inserts argon gas to a groove(14) on the purging blick.
