BURNED PLANT MATERIAL AND ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING MEMBER

Provided is an electrically conductive composition capable of making volume resistivity control easier which can be produced by using a carbonaceous material comprising a burned plant material alone. Starting with soybean hull, rapeseed oil cake, sesame oil cake, cotton seed oil cake, cotton hull, rice hull, rice bran, soybean chaff, rice straw, cereal hull or the like, a burned plant material is produced by controlling either carbon content, burning temperature or median diameter.  After burning, the plant material is ground and sieved to give a median diameter of about 80 µm or below.  The burned plant material is obtained by burning at a temperature of 700[oC] or higher.
