FILLER FOR AFFINITY CHROMATOGRAPHY

A filler for affinity chromatography comprises porous host particles containing a copolymer of a monomer mixture containing a crosslinkable vinyl monomer and an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer.  A ligand is bound to the porous host particles, and the porous host particles have a ring-opened epoxy group obtained by ring-opening of an epoxy group contained in the porous host particles.
