The invention further relates to a method for expanding adherent renal cells and to methods of using particular menbrames for culturing, storing and expanding adherent renal cells. The membranes comprise a copolymer of acrylonitrile and sodium methalIyIsulfonate as well as polythyleninmine.</p>
