The blade (1) has a drain opening (4) at a region of a rotor-blade tip (3), where the drain opening is a hole in a wall of the blade. The drain opening comprises an opening width of larger or same as 3 cm. The drain opening is arranged at a suction side of the blade or in a region, which is proximate to a rear edge (1b) of the blade. The drain opening is partially covered or shielded with wind protection, and a hood is arranged at the region of the drain opening. The hood shields the drain opening in a direction of a front edge (1b) of the rotor blade.
