PURPOSE: A lift apparatus is provided to secure safety for a passenger due to a structure which is capable of stably supporting the wheel and the steering wheel of a wheelchair and to freely move in state that the wheelchair is loaded. CONSTITUTION: A lift apparatus comprises: an equipment base(10); a pair of driving wheel(20) which is installed on the rear of the equipment base to be independently drivable; an elevating lift unit(40) which is installed on the equipment base and in which a length is controlled by multi steps; a drive and control unit(30) which respectively controls the drive of a driving wheel and the elevating lift unit; a multi hanger unit(50) which is rotatably installed on the upper part of the elevating lift unit; a steering wheel support unit(60) which is installed in the elevating lift unit to be controlled the height of the support unit; and a security bar(70) which is rotatably installed on the upper part of the elevating lift unit.
