Disclosed is a method for efficiently concentrating a lipid component from crustacean shells. A method for concentrating lipid contained in crustacean shells, characterized by comprising heating a compressed liquid obtained by compressing the whole or a portion of crustacean shells and performing solid-liquid separation to separate a solid component containing a lipid component from an aqueous component containing a water-soluble component. A method for producing lipid from the solid component containing lipid obtained by the method or a dry matter thereof. The solid component containing lipid obtained by the method or a dry matter thereof, lipid extracted therefrom, and further, a pharmaceutical, a food material, and a feedstuff containing the same as a raw material. |
