The invention relates to a latent hybrid heat accumulator for storing heat energy from heat sources such as solar circuits, geothermal heat circuits, hot water supplies, re-heating circuits, process heat circuits and heating circuits, wherein a heat accumulator tank which is filled with a first heat accumulator medium is provided, in which heat accumulator tank are situated heat exchangers which are connected to at least one of the heat sources. The problem addressed is that of creating a latent hybrid heat accumulator which has firstly the advantages of a water-filled heat accumulator and secondly the advantages of the latent heat accumulator. This is achieved in that one or more heat accumulator cartridges (3) which are filled with a second heat accumulator medium (4) (phase change material) are arranged in the heat accumulator tank (1), in that the heat accumulator cartridges (3) are rotatably mounted and coupled to a drive unit (5), and in that the heat accumulator cartridges (3) are provided with a device for removing solidified phase change material from their inner surface. |
