PURPOSE: A radioisotope centering device for piping radiography is provided to facilitate a process for positioning radioisotope at the center of the circumference of the piping and checking the location of a piping welded part. CONSTITUTION: A radioisotope centering device for piping radiography comprises a connection rod(8), a centering support(1), a gas spring(2), a tension compensator(6) and a front target(10). The connection rod forms the central axis of the centering apparatus. The centering support has the shape of a rod which is spread to the outside of the centering apparatus. The gas spring is connected to the centering support. The tension compensator is installed at both ends of the connection rod. The front target is installed on the front end of the tension compensator.
