<p>An apparatus for water treatment (1) to which raw water to be treated (A1) is supplied and in which the raw water (A1) is subjected to given treatments in a treating pipe (92). The water treatment apparatus (1) is equipped with: an ultraviolet irradiator (20) which is disposed on the treating pipe (92) and irradiates the raw water (A1) with ultraviolet; a magnetic device (40) which is disposed downstream in the treating pipe (92) from the ultraviolet irradiator (20) and applies a magnetic field to the raw water (A1) being flowing; and a radical-multiplying part (30) which is located between the ultraviolet irradiator (20) and the magnetic device (40) in the treating pipe (92) and multiplies at least one of a superoxide (·O2 -), hydrogen ions (H3O+), hydroxyl radicals (HO·), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), singlet oxygen (1O2), a metal/oxygen complex (M-OO), and ozone (O3).</p> |
