METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ESTIMATING CHANNEL AT RELAY NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for estimating a channel in a relay network are provided to enable a terminal to use a base station transmission signal and a relay pilot signal, thereby estimating a channel between a base station and a relay and a channel between a relay and a terminal. CONSTITUTION: The first and second frequency converters(615,625) convert the first and second transmission signals of a relay into a frequency domain. The first and second pilot signal extractors(620,630) extract the first and second receiving pilot signals from the first and second transmission signals of the relay. A base station-relay channel estimator(631) estimates a channel between a relay and the base station from the first and second receiving pilot signals. A relay-terminal channel estimator(633) estimates a channel between the relay and the base station from the first and second receiving pilot signals.
