BATTERY PACK CHARGING METHOD OF SERIES STYLE HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A battery pack charging method of a series connected type hybrid propulsion system is provided to maintain the uniform DC terminal voltage of a battery in discharging of battery. CONSTITUTION: A required torque value is transmitted for driving a vehicle(S114). The information about the states of a battery pack is received and the current state of the battery pack is detected(S120). The speed of the engine of vehicle is controlled based on the information about the states of the battery pack and the required torque value(S132). The charging/discharging of the battery pack is processed by generating AC power using a DC generator relatively to the speed of the engine(S134).
