Provided is an access point capable of dealing with connection requests exceeding a throughput value while maintaining the communication states of radio communication terminals. The access point is provided with a notification section (212) for, when necessary bands cannot be ensured with respect to a connection request including the bands received from a radio communication terminal (31), notifying insufficient bands to a server (11), and a request section (211) for requesting to switch over a radio IF used for a specific radio communication terminal (32) capable of changing the connection destination according to the information of the specific radio communication terminal (32) transmitted from the server (11) in response to the notification of the notification section (212).
