<p>The present invention relates to a method and system of checking and managing a queue of vehicles at a border checkpoint. In the central server of module 1 of the system foreseen for implementing the method a database is created with the data of vehicles waiting for border-crossing or pre-registered for border-crossing, in which at least the vehicle's registration number data and/or the driver's mobile communications device are stored. Module 1 of the system is connected via the Internet with module 2, which comprises the registration device at the checkpoint parking lot and performs registration of arriving vehicles, and module 3, which is foreseen for pre-registration of vehicles, module 4 comprising a device for operating border checkpoint entry gate, and module 5 comprising information screens for displaying queue progress.</p> |
