VIBRATION MOTOR AND PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE USING SAME

A vibration motor (100) is provided with a multilayer substrate (10), a permanent magnet (20), a guide frame (30), a first plate spring (42) and a second plate spring (44).  On the multilayer substrate (10), a first planar coil (12a) and a second planar coil (12b) are formed.  The permanent magnet (20) has a magnetic pole surface facing a coil (12), and moves on the side of an upper surface (10a) of the multilayer substrate (10) in the arrangement direction of the coil (12).  The first plate spring (42) and the second plate spring (44) are arranged at the both end sections of the arrangement of the coil (12), and urge the permanent magnet (20) in the moving direction.  The permanent magnet (20) has a flat first side surface (20a) brought into contact with the first plate spring (42) and a flat second side surface (20b) brought into contact with the second plate spring (44).  When the moving direction of the permanent magnet (20) switches to the direction indicated by an arrow (A2) from the direction indicated by an arrow (A1), the second plate spring (44) is brought into contact with the second side surface (20b) of the permanent magnet (20) at a position shifted from the moving line of the gravity center of the permanent magnet (20).
