<p>A pillow (1) has a head placement member (2) constructed from a flexible material and having a flat rectangular parallelepiped shape, and also has an urging device (4) for urging a portion above a cavity (2a) in the head placement member (2) and supporting the portion above the cavity (2a) in that state. The urging device (4) has a left and right pair of rectangular link mechanisms (6, 6), an upper connection member (12) placed between rear portions of the upper ends of the rectangular link mechanisms (6, 6), and mesh cloth (23) placed between upper portions of the rectangular link mechanisms (6, 6). When the head of a user is placed on the center of the head placement member (2), there is no hard member below the head and the neck. Because of the structure, the pillow is soft and the height of the pillow can be set small.</p> |
