PURPOSE: A flat panel display is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by adding an optical filter having an electromagnetic shielding filter to the flat display panel. CONSTITUTION: An optical filter is added to the surface of the flat display panel(3) by a transparent adhesion member. The optical filter(17) is formed by laminating the electromagnetic shielding sheet to be nearer than an infrared absorption sheet and a color correction sheet. The optical filter exposes the outer edge portion of the electromagnetic shielding sheet(17A) from the infrared absorption sheet and color correction sheet.
