摘要 <p>The method involves fragmenting manually executed assembly tasks into smallest activity steps e.g. screwing and adjusting, and producing and providing a database, which contain information about errors. Error rates of the smallest activity steps of the assembly tasks are modeled by classification of errors. The errors are developed during execution of the manually executed assembly tasks during motor vehicle production. Execution errors for the manually executed assembly tasks are predicted by calculation of the error rates for the smallest activity steps. An independent claim is also included for a software tool for executing a method for quantitative prediction of execution errors for estimated manually executed assembly tasks during motor vehicle production.</p>
