CORROSION RESISTANCE NANOCOMPOSITE COATING AND THE METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

<p>A corrosion resistance nanocomposite coating for producing polyurea/clay nanocomposites, comprising polyurea, organically modified layered clay and proper additives, is disclosed. The corrosion rate of the substrate can be dramatically decreased by applying the nanocomposite coating. The polyurea is polymerized from amine terminated compounds and isocyanate compounds. The method for producing the coating is also disclosed. The method comprises mixing the amine terminated compounds and the organically modified layered clay uniformly, and mixed with isocyanate compounds and proper additives at proper ratio. The organically modified layered clay can be dispersed on nano-level after the polymerization.</p>
