The transaction card (1) has a card body and a memory card. An individual motif (2) is arranged on the card body. The individual motif of a photo (3) of a holder of the transaction card is partly superimposed. The photo is combined with an optical variable element, which is partly overlapped with the photo. The optical variable element is formed as flip image (4). An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing the transaction card with a card body and memory area.
