COOLING SYSTEM

A cooling system which maintains a low-temperature showcase sufficiently cool and, at the same time, achieves good energy saving properties of a refrigerating machine. A cooling system (1) is provided with: a refrigerating circuit (2) formed by parallelly connecting low-temperature showcases (7), which are load facilities, to a rack system refrigerating machine (3) through refrigerant pipes (5a, 5b); a main controller (4) for generating, on the basis of the condition of cooling of the low-temperature showcases (7), control data for a compressor (9) which forms the rack system refrigerating machine (3) and outputting the control data; and a compressor controller (6) configured so as to be able to obtain a control setting which is required to control the capacity of the compressor (9) which is a main element of the rack system refrigerating machine (3), the compressor controller (6) receiving the control data from the main controller (4) and controlling the compressor (9) on the basis of the control setting and the control data.
