The attachment (14) has side parts (34) pivotably hinged on sides of a central part (32) such that the side parts pivot between a working position and a transport position about axes (38, 44). The central part, side parts and an outer part (36) comprise mowing and transport elements (16, 18, 20,21) in the working position. An actuator i.e. hydraulic cylinder, serves for pivoting the side parts around one of the axis and is drivably connected with the outer part. The actuator accomplishes a portion of the pivoting movement of the outer part around the other axis.
