The flywheel (100) has a spring and damping system (106) arranged between two flywheel elements (102, 104) and comprising two stages such as non-elastic damping stage (108) and damping-free stage (112). The non-elastic damping stage comprises a stopper (130), which limits twisting of the non-elastic damping stage to a maximum twisting angle. The two stages are arranged with respect to a common rotation axis of different effective radii. The damping stage designed as a damping element comprises a friction element (134).
