<p>A safety door lock of a household appliance, preferably a washing machine, is executed of a housing (1), to which a mechanical assembly (2) of the door lock is mounted on the one side, and an assembly (4) of an electrical switch for achieving a closed or open electrical circuit, in which a part of a program timer (5) is included, on the opposite side, where the door lock assembly (2) and the assembly (4) of the electrical switch are interlinked by a slider (6) which is designed so that its eye (8) is cooperating with a door handle (3) of the appliance, when the former is to be found in a guide (7) in such a manner that by manual closing of the appliance's door, the handle (3), when entering the guide (7), moves the slider (6) in the direction towards the assembly (4). The characteristic of the lock according to the invention is in that on the part of the slider (6) in the area of the assembly (4), there are an opening (9) and a steep (10), and that the assembly (4) of the electrical switch is composed of a switch (12), an electrical solenoid (13) with an axially movable core (14), two permanent magnets (15) which are mounted at an interspace from the core's (14) ends, where a movable contact (18) of the switch (12) is cooperating with the steep (10) on the slider (6), and a switch (16) which is included into a circuit for open/closed indication of the door together with the program timer (5) and whose movable contact (20) is mounted on a carrier (21) which is fixed to the core (14) of the solenoid (13), where the solenoid (13) is controlled by direct current whose polarisation is determined by the program timer (5) with regard to the operation of the appliance or the termination of its operation. The core (14) is axially movable by means of the solenoid (13) and fixed in the one or the other extreme position with the fit to the each time adjacent permanent magnet (15), even at the absence of current in the solenoid (13).</p> |
