PURPOSE: A method for expressing sensory effects and a device thereof are provided to maximize regeneration effect of media by expressing the sensory effects when the media is supplied, and to offer sensory expressing information. CONSTITUTION: A sensory media generator(302) produces SEM(sensory effect metadata). The sensory effect metadata includes sensory effect information. A sensory effect expression unit(304) controls a sensory device(306) to express sensory effects on media reproduction. A media player(308) reproduces the media. The sensory device offers the sensory effects.
