STBC BASED TRANSMISSION METHOD CONSIDERING THE NUMBER OF SYMBOLS IN A SLOT

PURPOSE: An STBC based transmission method considering the number of symbols in a slot is provided to efficiently implement transmission diversity while maintaining CM(Cubic Metric) characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A transmission symbol pairs continuous two symbol units in each sub frame by STBC(Spatial Time Block Coding) method. The transmission symbol is mapped with a frequency domain by slot unit and transmitted. One sympol in a slot, of which symbol number except for symbols for reference signal transmission is odd, is not paired by the STBC method. If the transmission symbol is transmitted through one symbol not paired by the STBC method, the transmission symbol is transmitted through a first antenna and conjugate symbol of the particular symbol is transmitted through a second antenna.
