The guide rail (1) has a connecting flange (2) for fixing the guide rail to a lateral wall and has a guiding ridge (4) spaced from the connecting flange for linear track of another rail part of a furniture pull-out guide. The distance between the connecting flange and the guiding ridge is changeable. The guiding ridge is carried by a support (5), which is movable relative to the connecting flange. An independent claim is included for a drawer with a side frame.
