The cooler (10) has an inner cartridge housing body (18) enclosing five sides and including an opening side that is closed by a cartridge cover (20). An edge region (26) of the cover and an edge region (32) of the body are connected with each other by a circumferential weld seam (34), in a sealed manner. Circumferential supporting shoulders (28, 30) are provided at the edge regions and proximal to the weld seam. The shoulders support each other such that radial traction forces of the cover are transmitted from the shoulders to the body. |
