Symmetrical electric contact

The contact (1) has a contact body with contact and connection sides inserted into a plug body (20) for separably contacting plug connectors in order to transmit high-frequency signals. The contact side comprises symmetric spring legs that are shaped out of the contact body, where the contact side has inwardly directed contact domes with contact zones provided on free ends of the spring legs. The contact domes are narrower than material thickness of the spring legs toward the contact zones and the contact body in contact direction.
