The control assembly of a car headlamp (1) includes at least one ball-and-socket joint (2) consisting of a ball and socket, which is an integral part of a headlight flexibly integrated in the enclosure (5) of the illuminant as well as a slip-piece (6) attached to the aforementioned ball-and- socket joint (2), which can be operated with the help of a control adapter (13). The control adapter (12) can be operated from the direction, which runs at least approximately opposite the direction of the light beam generated by the headlight (1) and linked to a spindle (9), while the rotating movement is transferred to the spindle (9) by way of a profiled control adapter (13) and via clutch consisting from an internal part (11) and an external part (12) for preventing the application of excessive torque, where inside the adjustment nut (8) which represents a part of the slip-piece (6) the rotational movement is transformed into translatory one. The elastic element (10) and the adaptable nut (8) enable various angles (a) regarding the position of the spindle (9) in the area of the cone. Inside the enclosure (5) of the illuminant the slip-piece is operated by way of guides (7) and sealed by a washer (4) while the specified slip-piece (6) is via the ball-and- socket joint (2) resulting from the ball and socket being linked to the headlight (1), while the shift of the slip-piece (6) in the terminal positions is in one direction limited by a notch (3) and in the other by fitting of the slip-piece (6) on the enclosure (5) of the illuminant. |
