<p>The method involves lighting eye using a light source (4), and capturing a corneal reflect image of the light source by a photoelectric sensor (7) e.g. digital camera, for converting an image into an electric signal, where the light source is comprised of LED. The signal is processed for calculating a keratometric value, and the signal is deduced. Corneal reflects of the two eyes are captured alternatively or simultaneously without relative displacement of face of individual with respect to the photoelectric sensor. An independent claim is also included for an automatic keratometer to measure a keratometric value relative to a geometry of a cornea of eyes of individual, comprising case.</p> |
