PURPOSE: An apparatus for surface treatment of carbon fiber using resistance heating and a surface treatment method of the carbon fiber using the same are provided to process the surface of the carbon fiber by supplying gas containing carbon to the heated carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for surface treatment of carbon fiber using resistance heating comprises the following: a first and a second electrode rollers(120a,120b) moving the carbon fiber(110); a power supply device(130) applying power between the first and the second electrode rollers; a chamber(100) having a second bobbin(150) packaging the carbon fiber; a first bobbin(140) supplying the carbon fiber to the first electrode roller.
