PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make moisture hardly enter the interior of a container and further make the container hardly swell even if a chemical substance stored in the container evolves gas, by allowing the evolved gas to escape to the external side of the container through a portion between a slant face and a thin-walled piece. SOLUTION: A container body 1 made of a synthetic resin has a substantially cylindrical perpheral wall part, and a cap 2 made of a synthetic resin has an outer peripheral part 23 suspended downwardly along the circular outer periphery thereof. A thin-walled piece 121 protruding almost horizontally is formed at the top end of the cylindrical peripheral wall part of the container body 1, and an external thread 122 is formed at a position lower than the top end. A slant face 231 extending toward a downwardly-external side is formed on an inner face of the top end of the outer peripheral part 23 of the cap 2, and an internal thread 232, which is screwed on the external thread 122 of the container body 1, is formed at a position lower than the top end. When the container body 1 is covered with the cap 2, the slant face 231 of the cap 2 is pressed against the thin-walled piece 121 of the container body 1, and the container body 1 is thereby sealed. |
