<p>The method involves retrieving a session initialized by a calling party and controlled by a control unit (50), where the session includes initialization request framed by a user agent corresponding to the party. An identifier corresponding to a called party and a communication format e.g. text, are determined from the request. A workable user agent is selected from a predetermined list of user agents corresponding to the called party, using the identifier and a preset criterion. The session is adapted with the selected agent, and is sent to the control unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for establishing communication between a calling party and a called party via user agents connected to a communication network (2) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for establishing communication between a calling party and a called party via user agents connected to a communication network.</p> |
