PURPOSE: A conductive polymer - carbon nanotube composite capable of dispersing in water, a stabilized aqueous emulsion including thereof, and manufacturing methods thereof are provided to obtain excellent stability of the emulsion composed of a carbon nanotube/PEDOT composite. CONSTITUTION: A stabilized aqueous emulsion composed of a conductive polymer-carbon nanotube composite is manufactured from a miniemulsion polymerization process. The conductive polymer contains Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT). The carbon nanotube consists a multi-walled carbon nanotube. Beta-1,3-glucan is used to disperse the carbon nanotube and conductivity polymer. A surfactant used in the miniemulsion polymerization process is selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant(dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid), a cationic surface active agent(decyltrimethyl ammonium bromide), and a non-ionic surfactant(polyoxyethylene-11-decylether). |
