The filter cartidge (1) according to the invention comprises a filtering element (3) having a parallelepiped-like shape and obtained from stacking sheets made of alternately corrugated and non-corrugated filtering material, so as to form a plurality of channels which are alternately closed and opened at the upstream and downstream faces of the filter and so that to force air to cross the filtering material before leaving the filter. On the two opposite sides of the filtering element (3), including the corrugated and non-corrugated sheets edges, are glued two lateral plates (15) provided with bent edges which preserve the shape of the filtering element (3), reduce the geometrical and mounting tolerances of the filter cartridge (1), and make easier for the plates to be glued to the filtering element (3).
