PURPOSE: A method for processing the interior of a nut for a ball screw is provided to minimize the tensile force applied to a semi-product by transferring a tap carriage without power when cutting screw gullies. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing the interior of a nut for a ball screw comprises the steps of: preparing a cylindrical semi-product(S100), cutting a part of a ball circulation path first(S200), forming spirals on the inner surface of the semi-product(S300), chucking the semi-product in a lathe(S400), matching the spirals with the tap of a reciprocating tap carriage and rotating the chuck to form screw gullies of semicircular profile(S500), separating a finished product with the tap from the chuck(S600), and separating the finished product from the tap(S700).
