PURPOSE: A mother panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a cutting yield rate by improving sealing intensity between a first and a second motherboard. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second motherboard are arranged in order to be facing each other. A plurality of organic electroluminescent device patterns(EPT) is formed on the first motherboard with a uniform interval. A plurality of grooves(hm) are formed in the second motherboard in order to correspond to a plurality of organic electroluminescent device patterns. A plurality of dummy grooves(dhm) is formed along the edge of the second motherboard. A seal pattern(190) surrounds a plurality of grooves. A dummy seal pattern(192) surrounds a plurality of dummy grooves.
