Application of glue to strips of material for the tobacco processing industry

The device has a glue processing chamber (7) arranged at a raster roller (5). Glue (20) is removed from the glue processing chamber by using the raster roller. An external conveyor pipe (12) is attached to an internal supply pipe (13) of the glue processing chamber. The glue is delivered by the external conveyor pipe and the internal supply pipe of the glue processing chamber. A controllable or adjustable supply pump (14) is attached to the external conveyor pipe and/or a controllable or adjustable throttle (17) is arranged at the external conveyor pipe. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for applying glue on a material strip in a tobacco processing industry (2) a method for operating a glue-applying device in a tobacco processing industry.
