PURPOSE: A ceiling material for a vehicle is provided to improve high sound absorptivity by replacing a hot melt film layer with a permeable film. CONSTITUTION: A ceiling material of high sound absorptivity for a vehicle comprises a base layer(10), a fabric layer(20), and a permeable film layer. The base layer includes a urethane foam layer(11), reinforcement layers(12) attached to both sides of the urethane foam layer, film layers(13,14) laminated on the reinforcement layers, and nonwoven fabric layers(15) laminated on the film layers. The fabric layer is laminated on the top of the base layer. The permeable film layer is interposed between the base layer and the fabric layer and bonds the two layers.
