PURPOSE: A control method of a home network and a car terminal thereof are provided to control the home network of a destination location by matching routing information pre-stored with a driving road and establishing the destination location. CONSTITUTION: The current position of a car terminal(100) is detected. The car terminal searches each arrival path corresponding to one or more POI(Point Of Interest) including a home network device(220). The car terminal matches a driving path with a searched path. The car terminal determines whether the home network device should be controlled after recognizing a matched POI as a destination. The home network device included in the destination location is controlled.
