PURPOSE: A cooperative transmission method using repeaters and a repeater selection method adapted to the same are provided to retransmit a signal through an optimal repeater in a constant distance between a source and a destination, thereby largely reducing the consumption of power and bandwidth used for signal retransmission. CONSTITUTION: A source transmits data packet to repeaters and a destination(S410). The destination detects errors of the data packet(S420). The destination transmits a non-acknowledge message to the repeater according to detection result(S450). Each repeater calculates relative distance of the source, the repeater, the destination(S460). Each repeater compares the relative distance with a standard value(S470). According to comparison result, each repeater retransmits the data packet to the destination(S480).
