PURPOSE: A video display apparatus for two-dimensional image and three-dimensional image is provided to express the image without falling brightness of the three-dimensional image and falling picture quality of the two-dimensional image. CONSTITUTION: A video display apparatus for two-dimensional image and three-dimensional image comprises a display unit(110) and a controller(100). The display unit positions a lenticular lens(116) between a first display(112) and a second display(114) and outputs the two-dimensional image or the three-dimensional image selectively. The controller controls the first display and the second display to selectively output the two-dimensional image or the three-dimensional image.
