An artificial turf stock material is disclosed, which comprises a hotmelt adhesive based on an amorphous poly-alpha-olefin for backfixing, wherein the amorphous poly-alpha -olefin (a) has the monomer composition: - from 0.1% to 15% by weight of ethane; -from 20% to 95% by weight of propene; and - from 0.1% to 80% by weight of a linear and/or branched alpha-olefin monomer having from 4 to 20 carbon atoms.
