The invention relates to a multi-functional system of blocks, comprising a product intended for children, which combines the attributes of multi-functional furniture and toys and forms a compact, user-friendly arrangement of proportionally dimensioned structural components. The structural components are provided with elements enabling same to be easily converted to produce different configurations, such as to assemble a variety of real ergonomically designed chairs reinforced with a securing system providing increased stability and safety. Said structural components can be selectively positioned to produce a plurality of visual patterns and configurations according to the requirements of the user. As such, the components are multi-functional and highly versatile and the use of any space can be optimised. In addition, other configurations can also be produced using the multi-functional system of blocks, such as mats, pyramids, desks and small rooms. The invention comprises: two one-piece L-shaped components both of which are provided with Velcro ® and fasteners on one of the L-shaped sides thereof, said components being the mirror image of one another; a large rectangular component provided with U-shaped Velcro ® on the front thereof and a strip of Velcro ® on one side of same; a medium rectangular component provided with U-shaped Velcro ® on the front thereof and a strip of Velcro ® on the right and left sides of same; a square component provided with U-shaped Velcro ® on the front thereof and on one one side of same; two square components provided with Velcro ® on one side thereof; two Velcro ® -free square components; four Velcro ® -free small rectangular components; and three adjustable straps.
