PURPOSE: A method for measuring age of animal using an isotope is provided to grasp age of animal during butchery or distribution processes through biological half-life by administering a specific isotope. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring age of animal using isotope comprises: a step of concentrating stable isotope and administering the isotope to born animal; and a step of measuring mass ration of the isotope existing in animal body. The isotope is selected from Fe and S. The mass ratio of the isotope is measured by collecting sample. The animal is cow.
