The device has six webbed panels connected by fasteners to constitute four walls or sides folded on one another, and a base that is provided with a rigid bearing structure. The base is sized for supporting a predefined load ranging from 1.5 to 5 tons, by capturing load in the rigid bearing structure using round lifting lugs i.e. welded iron logs. The round lifting lugs are made of steel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for assembling a storage device (2) a method for transforming a sealed and solid chamber.
