<p>Cosmetic process for care of skin, comprises applying, on the skin, a composition comprising a gradient copolymer comprising: repeating units (45-95 wt.%) derived from polymerization of at least one first nonionic hydrophobic monomer, where the corresponding homopolymer has glass transition temperature (Tg1) of greater than 20[deg] C; repeating units (5-25 wt.%) derived from polymerization of at least one second ionic monomer having a carboxylic acid group; and optionally repeating units (0-40 wt.%) derived from polymerization of at least one third hydrophobic nonionic monomer. Cosmetic process for care of skin, comprises applying, on the skin, a composition comprising a gradient copolymer comprising: repeating units (a) (45-95 wt.%) derived from polymerization of at least one first nonionic hydrophobic monomer, where the corresponding homopolymer has glass transition temperature (Tg1) of greater than 20[deg] C; repeating units (b) (5-25 wt.%) derived from polymerization of at least one second ionic monomer having a carboxylic acid group; and optionally repeating units (c) (0-40 wt.%) derived from polymerization of at least one third hydrophobic nonionic monomer, where the corresponding homopolymer has glass transition temperature (Tg3) of greater than 20[deg] C.
