MULTI BANDWIDTH ANTENNA FOR MOBILE PHONE

PURPOSE: A multiband antenna is provided to expand a bandwidth and miniaturize the antenna by forming a main antenna part interlinking a pair of slots on the side of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A PCB(110) has a ground plane. A first slot(120) is patterned in the front side of the PCB. One end of the first slot is connected to the ground plane. A main antenna part(140) is patterned in the side of the PCB. One end of the main antenna part is connected to the first slot. A second slot(130) is patterned in the front side of the PCB. The second slot is connected to the other end part of the main antenna part.
