ACOUSTIC LEAK DETECTOR FOR FUEL CHANNELS IN HEAVY WATER REACTOR

PURPOSE: An acoustic leakage detector is provided to simultaneously measure an acoustic signal inside and outside a fuel channel closure plug by using a piezoelectricity acoustic sensor and a microphone acoustic sensor. CONSTITUTION: A signal collection part is touched with the end part of a fuel channel closure plug. The signal collection part comprises a high frequency acoustic sensor(500), a low-frequency acoustic horn(502), and a low frequency acoustic sensor(504). The low frequency acoustic sensor is combined in the low-frequency acoustic horn. A driving part(600) makes the signal collection part to be contact with the end part of the fuel channel closure plug. A connecting part couples the leak detector in the rod of the head unit of the fuel switch of the fuel channel. A signal processing unit processes a signal collected by the signal collection part.
